CV006 Earthworks, Roadworks and Drainage

TCD were engaged by FMG to undertake the earthworks, roadworks and drainage for the construction of the new CV006 Overland Conveyor at the Cloudbreak Mine Site.
The scope of works included:

  • CV006 overland conveyor detailed earthworks, from chainage 5023km to chainage 9543km.
  • Bulk earthworks at Norfolk ROM which included the construction of the base fill for Hopper 9 / CV009 and the Tail Slab of CV006.
  • Excavation works for foundation installation.
  • Supply and installation of corrugated steel pipe culverts.
  • Construction of drains.
  • Construction of Light Vehicle Access Roads.
  • Construction of temporary roads.
